Well, apparently I’m not the only one.
When I check my blog in Firefox, it comes out all white except for the sidebars. The problem is, that the text is white, which makes it unreadable unless you highlight it. So, I checked it in IE and, you guessed it, the color is fine. So, what’s different?
On the other hand, in both IE and Firefox, the right sidebar has, for some inexplicable reason, decided to move itself on down the page. Hmmmm.
Even stranger, in the preview panel, the site looks perfectly normal. Plus, in Firefox, if you look at an archived post, it looks perfectly normal. (If you’re using Firefox, click on the post header and you’ll see what I mean.) It’s enough to make a gal want to pull her hair out!
First, let me tell you that I didn’t make any changes in the past two weeks to the site, so why it all of a sudden decided to go wacky on me, I don’t know. Everything was fine and then one day, Wham!, all wrong.
Yesterday, in an attempt to get things back to normal, I set all the font settings (the only things I’ve changed) back to their original size. But, alas, my blog is still messed up.
Thinking that it may be a Firefox issue, I went to their help page and checked all the settings that they suggest checking, and everything is as it should be so, no help there.
So, I’ll probably be doing some tweaking. Maybe I’ll even change my theme. Even though I like the one I’m using.
In the meantime, if anyone has any ideas on why this happened, I’d love to hear them.

FWIW, I read in Firefox (the latest version) and everything’s fine, except the font got bigger a while back and is now smaller again. What a pain.

You know I am using Firefox and the page is white so I highlight your post to read, but once I click to write a post, it goes back to normal!
After posting, it goes normal! (now your post looks beautifully fine!)
Even though this has been new for me, I wonder if Firefox is just a slowpoke and is “thinking”…

Sorrrrrrry…. once I went back to the regular page after posting, it turned Casper on me again.

Hmmm, sognatrice, maybe we’re using different versions of firefox and I need to update? I was the one who made the font smaller though. I set everything back to default when it started acting up. I still may end changing the whole look of the blog.
Farfallina, I honestly don’t know. It seems squirrely to me the way it looks fine, then doesn’t, then does. But, I’ve been having trouble with my online email in Firefox for the last couple of days too. I definitely need to check for an update. Thanks for saying nothing can keep you away from my blog though. I’m glad to have you visit.
