Saturday night/Sunday morning we changed our clocks ahead to what they call here in Italy, “legal time”. A definite sign of spring and one that I look forward too despite the fact that I “lose” an hour of sleep because this means that in the evening, we can actually start doing more since it stays light later.
So, last night we headed out to our “farm” to check on the water situation.
There we were greeted by even more signs of spring.
Cherry blossoms
Apple blossoms
Plum blossoms
and the wild arugula

So glad it’s legal time now, rather than illegal time. ha ha.
The day does seem much longer this way, though it was a killer getting up on Monday.

Thanks Annika, I was so happy to see everything so green and blooming after last year’s drought. It was a big relief.
Delina, I know what you mean about getting up. Sunday we slept later than normal due to the time change and Monday was a bit difficult.

I love discovering new blossoms down in our “orto.”

Sognatrice, I love seeing the blossoms too and am happy to see the cherry blossoms. I’m only hoping we’ll be able to have some cherries this year. The past two years someone harvested them all without our permission.
