Vacation – or should I say “stay-cation” – is now over. Sometimes I think it’s better to actually plan to go somewhere, that way you really do get a vacation, but we managed to enjoy ourselves all the same.
In August there is always something to do locally. We managed to go to several sagras (ventricina, cavatelli and sausage, spezzatino d’agnello), along with several other parties. There was also music available numerous times and when there wasn’t, a nice stroll in the park was the order of the day.
We even went on a few day trips and saw some interesting things. So now that I’m all rested up, I’m ready to get back to work.

That’s the truth! To me vacation is just a chance for the family to be together – no matter what we’re doing.
