The last few days it seemed as if we were living in a cloud – and I guess we were…..literally.
Despite the fact that all the weather forecasts said it was sunny, there was a perpetual fog surrounding us or below us. Above the fog the sky was blue and the sun was shining. Just enough to tantalize us and make us think the weather would get better. Periodically, the fog would burn off from the higher portions of town and we would get a taste of that fine weather, but it didn’t last long. In just a short while, the fog would roll back in and we would go back to being surrounded by mist. It was actually rather surreal.
For those short periods when we were above the fog, there was nothing to be seen but white below us. It seemed like the world ended just a few meters away.
